At Chamonix, 1500k completed!

Big day yesterday. Left Lake Annecy at 8.30 and reached Chamonix at about 16.00, to mark the end of the first stage of this journey.

Climbed for a good part of the day as we rode into the Alps. Absolutely beautiful. We climbed over 1000 vertical metres, and are now camped in the foothills of Mont Blanc. A stunning way to bring up the 1500k covered so far.

Full update to come in a couple of days, but until then enjoy the view I woke up to this morning....
